On December 15, Ivan Petkov's team will host the players of "Šelmy Brno" at their nominal home ground in Kutna Hora. The match will take place as part of the Czech championship at 18:00 Kyiv time.

The rivals are at different poles of the Extraliga standings. "Prometey" is in the second position (12 matches, 10 wins, 30 points), and "Šelmy" is in the eighth (13-6-18).

Such a high place for the Ukrainian club is due to its excellent form: our volleyball players triumphed in the last eight consecutive matches of the Czech championship. At the same time, the opponents, on the contrary, did not feel the taste of victory in four games so far.

Attack leaders

This will be the first face-to-face meeting of teams in history. However, in the composition of "Šelmy", there are performers who in one way or another crossed paths with "Prometey" - Ukrainians Angelina Dubyanska (who defended the colors of our club in the 2019/20 season) and Hanna Kyrychenko (former leader of Yuzhny "Khimik").

By the way, Hanna is the best sniper in her current club. At this moment, she has already scored 218 points (22 aces) — the fourth result in the list of scorers of the Extraliga. However, her Czech teammate Anna Shiruchkova (201) is only slightly behind her.

Results in the last season

According to the results of the last season's regular championship of the Czech Republic, the "Šelmy Brno" club took sixth place. However, the team finished their performances at the quarter-final stage, being eliminated by Olomouc (0-3 in the series).
