On May 9, in Łódź, the men's volleyball team of Ukraine started preparing for the group round of the European Golden League 2023. The head coach of the Ukrainian team, Uģis Krastiņš has called 16 volleyball players to the national team.

Among them are three players from Dnipro's "Prometey": team captain and setter Vitalii Shchytkov, outside hitter Dmytro Yanchuk and libero Oleksandr Boiko.

Let's add that Yanchuk and Boiko made it to the list of the national team of Ukraine for the first time in their sports careers.

After the training camp in Tenerife and the tournament in Qatar, the beach volleyball team of SC "Prometey" Diana Lunina and Tetyana Lazarenko went to Brazil. It is there, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, that Ukrainian beach volleyball players are preparing for future tournaments.

We would like to remind you that the duo Lunina\Lazarenko was formed recently and is one of the most promising teams in Ukraine.

Both mentors sent their optimal line-ups to the court. And traditionally, the beginning of the meeting took place in an equal struggle. Andrii Levchenko's team managed to keep 100% concentration in the end - 25:21.

VC "Prometey" - "Barkom-National Team of Ukraine U-18" – 3:0 (25:22, 25:15, 25:13)

On January 18, VC "Prometey" victoriously started the third circle of matches in the regular championship of Ukraine.

The first opponent in the seventh round of the Super League-Budinvest was the team from Lviv "Barkom-National Team of Ukraine U-18".

VC "Prometey" is completing preparations for its debut appearance in the European Cups. In the 1/16 finals of the Challenge Cup, the team from Dnipro will play twice against the Israeli team "Hapoel Mate Asher". Both matches will take place in the city of Akko (Israel) on November 8 and 10 at 19:00 Kyiv time.

In an interview with the press service of VC "Prometey", head coach Andrii Levchenko talked about the mood of his players, the stages of preparation, and the main trump card of the Dnipro club.

The opponent from the start showed character and desire to fight for every point. At first, the Ternopil team managed to do it, but then Dmytro Yanchuk came out to serve and organized a minimum margin. It was enough to win the first set – 25:21.

In the second set, there was a struggle between the teams that lasted until its end. Andrii Levchenko's team played better at the end of the set – 25:23.

On October 20, at 19:00, VC "Prometey" will hold another match as a part of the regular championship of Ukraine - Super League-Budinvest. The opponent will be the Ternopil team "Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo".

Yurii Kravtsov's team is now the only one without a single victory. Instead, "Prometey" is undefeated after five matches.

On July 21, at the initiative of PVLU President Volodymyr Mykhailovych Dubinsky, a meeting was held with all the head coaches of Super League-Budinvest clubs for the 2022-2023 season.

Already at the end of September, eight teams will start the fight for the title of national champion: "Prometey" (Dnipro), VC "MHP-Vinnytsia" (Trostianets), "The team of Poltava region VC Reshetylivka", VC "Barkom-Kazhany" (Lviv), "Epicenter- Podolany" (Horodok), "Zhytichi-Poliskiy Universitet" (Zhytomyr), "Law Academy" (Kharkiv), "Security Police-ZUNU-Dynamo" (Ternopil).
