Third round (first game)
"Halychanka-ZUNU" — SC "Prometey"
About "Halychanka"
It has already happened that in the recent seasons of the championship of Ukraine, the Ternopil team is fighting only for survival. The outsider status consists of several aspects, namely: the roster of the team, the game itself, and, ultimately, the results of Halychanka.
Currently, the backbone is mainly formed by young players. In addition, long-time leader and captain Valeriia Dromova left the team in the last off-season. For balance in the attack, the club signed the experienced Maryna Mircheva, who spent the last season in Prometey.
Despite the above, it is worth noting the work of coach Liudmyla Chornenka. Her wards show really impressive volleyball at times, but at crucial moments they simply lack experience.
Tournament table
After the last success against the nearest pursuer "Bukovynka", our volleyball players strengthened their leadership at the tournament table. They have 5 victories and 15 points.
"Halychanka" closes the "standings" with zero points. This is the only team that has not yet tasted victory in this year's elite division draw.
