Our volleyball players perfectly coped with their task in the final round of the group stage of the Champions League 2024, overcoming the resistance of the representatives of Romania. This is the second defeat of "Alba" against "Prometey" in this year's draw of the most prestigious European club competition.

After a month-long break, the volleyball players of SC "Prometey" are returning to performances in the Champions League 2024. On January 11, as part of the penultimate fifth round of the competition, they will meet with representatives of the French club "Volero Le Cannet". The match will take place at 18:00 at the nominally home arena of the "red and whites" in the Romanian city of Mioveni.

On December 5, our volleyball players will play their fourth match in the group stage of the Champions League 2024. On this day, their opponents will be the current champions of Poland, to whom the Ukrainians lost in the second round. The meeting will occur at the opponent's court at 19:00 Kyiv time.

SC "Prometey" — "LKS Lodz" 0-3 (20:25, 17:25, 23:25)

Ivan Petkov's wards played their second match at the group stage of the Champions League 2024 against the current champions of Poland - the players of "LKS Lodz". Both teams lost points at the start of the competition, so they had nowhere to retreat.

On October 26, the last opponent of the women's team of SC "Prometheus" in the group stage of the Champions League of the 2023/24 season was defined. We would like to remind you that according to the results of the drawing of lots, Ivan Petkov's wards got into Group E, where their opponents were: "Le Cannet" (France), LKS "Lodz" (Poland), and the second qualifying team.

Today, the decisive second stage of the qualification ended, where four teams finally made it: "Alba Blaj" (Romania), "Asterix Avo" (Belgium), "Mladost" (Croatia), and "KP Brno" (Czech Republic).

On August 18, the blue and yellow team will begin their journey to the European Championship 2023. Our volleyball players will play group-stage matches in the Belgian city of Ghent at the Flanders Sports Arena.

We would like to remind you that they spent the final stage of preparation for the continental championship in Athens. There, they had two sparring matches against Greece, which ultimately ended with the same score of 3-2 in favor of the Ukrainians.

On July 19, the drawing of lots for the group stage of the 2023/24 Champions League among women's teams took place in Luxembourg. SC "Prometey" is the only representative of Ukraine in the most prestigious European club competitions.

At this stage of the tournament, Ivan Petkov's team got into Group E, where they will play against already well-known Le Cannet (France), LKS Lodz (Poland), and one of the teams from the qualifying stage.

The first two clubs from each group and one best team among the third places will advance to the playoffs.
