Women's Super League-Dmart 2022/23
IX tour. 3 match
Chernivtsi Arena "PVLU". February 10, 2023
"Dobrodiy-Meduniversitet-ShVSM" — SC "Prometey" 0-3 (18:25, 13:25, 9:25)
The match of the Super League-Dmart against Dobrodiy was the first for some players and the coaching staff of SC Prometey, led by Ivan Petkov, after returning to Ukraine. The debut was a success because the "red and whites" won a convincing victory. By the way, due to personal reasons, the Bulgarian specialist could not attend today's match. However, he will definitely return to the playoff round.
The teams started the match quite cheerfully because none of them wanted to give the initiative to each other. However, with each new rally, the "red and whites" slowly dragged it to their side - 5:8. Dariia Velykokon and Anastasiia Maievska successfully played on the block several times in a row, increasing the lead of their team to 6:10.
The team from Vinnytsia needed to save the situation, and because of that, they began to take more risks, in particular, on serves. This move was successful but not for long. It was only necessary for the Prometey team to increase their speed, as their advantage began to grow rapidly - 11:18. Soon Svitlana Dorsman made an actual "kill" into the floor and earned a set ball. In the next episode, a mistake by Maryna Dehtiarova led to the end of the set - 18:25.
In the first half of the second set, on a Dorsman's serve "Prometey" secured a good handicap - 5:11. Valeriia Yakusheva, the leader and best scorer of Dobrodiy, felt the difficulty in attacking against the well-organized block of opponents. Therefore, the setter of this club was looking for different options to end attacks, and found, in particular, the opposite Maryna Dehtiarova. However, the player's efforts turned out to be not enough to hold on to the game - 13:25.
The third set of the confrontation took place under the total dominance of the current champion of Ukraine. The Vinnytsia players had little success on the court. Hence the crushing score on the scoreboard — 9:25.
