Just like two days ago, our volleyball players won a convincing victory over the players of Bukovynka. This success allowed "Prometey" to strengthen its leadership in the Super League-Dmart tournament table.
The "red-white" team started the meeting with the main line-up, which, of course, made it difficult for the "Bukovynka" to take revenge for the last defeat. Despite this, they kept a high pace and tried not to let the reigning champions of Ukraine go far away (7:5).
But the game failure happened earlier than probably expected (12:5). There were many spikes in those minutes from the Chernivtsi team, which did not pose any threat to "Prometey". Artem Dyhtiarenko took advantage of two time-outs in a short period of time, insisting on acting more emotionally and aggressively in the attack. The break benefited his wards: the players began to win break points, but the gap was too significant - 25:18.
On the serve of Anastasiia Maievska, the "red and whites" made a spurt at the start of the second set (5:0). Having a comfortable handicap on their side, they acted confidently and loosely, fully controlling the course of the match (16:4). Thanks to the timely substitution of Kateryna Huseinova, "Bukovynka" finally managed to deal with the reception. But after that, the team from Chernivtsi managed to win only three rallies - 25:8.
The beginning of the third set of the meeting in terms of the development of events resembled the first set. After a 10-minute break, Artem Dyhtiarenko's team improved its game in all elements. This allowed them to surpass their last score in points (13:9) even before the middle of the set. However, this did not mean that "Prometey" lost momentum - 25:10.
