SC "Prometey" — "Regina-MEGU-OSHVSM" 3-0 (25:18, 25:7, 25:17)
"Prometey" volleyball players confidently started the new season of the Super League-Dmart. In their debut match against "Regina", our girls did not leave their opponents a single chance.
Although at the start of the meeting, the Rivne players made a rather positive impression of themselves. They tried to keep up with the famous opponents (5:4). And for a long time, they did succeed, especially when there were no problems with the reception. In addition, the "red and whites" themselves made a lot of mistakes, in particular, on serves (13:12). And after several aces by Daria Hriazina and unsuccessful attacks by Margarita Heiko, "Regina" took the lead by three points (13:16).
However, the sensation did not happen: after the time-out, Ivan Petkov's wards added power to the attack and soon regained the lead (18:17). For its part, the Rivne team significantly lost momentum - 25:18.
In the next set, "Prometey" never once allowed the opponents to take the lead. Olena Kharchenko was merciless to her rivals in the attack. Looking ahead, let's say that it was she who put an end to this set. Meanwhile, the above-mentioned Heiko (15:3) was distinguished by an error-free series of servings, thus she fully rehabilitated from previous mistakes - 25:7.
The first half of the third set was marked by Andriana Pavlyk's confident game. The athlete performed equally well both in the attack and on the block (2:5, 4:7). It is worth noting that "Regina" after a failed previous set managed to pull itself together and in the end impose a decent fight on the favorites (17:17). However, Petkov's players still pressed their opponents in the class - 25:17.
