These days, the men's volleyball team of Ukraine is participating in the group stage of the European Golden League 2023. The team of Uģis Krastiņš and Andrii Levchenko has already won four victories in a row and secured a place among the top four teams of the tournament.

It is nice that there are also players of our club among the triumphants. Namely, the captain of "Prometey" Vitalii Shchytkov, who is currently the main setter of the national team. Regardless of the position, Shchytkov also brings important points to the team. During four sets, the setter has scored 8 points (1 ace, 4 attacks, 3 blocks).

Also, there is Dmytro Teromenko, a newcomer of the "red and whites" who at the age of 36 demonstrates a high-class game and in four matches earned 39 points (6 aces, 26 in attack, 7 blocks).

One more player is the libero Oleksandr Boiko, who has entered the roster of the "national team" for the first time in his career.

And, of course, the coach of "Prometey" is Andrii Levchenko, who has been the right-hand man of the Latvian specialist Uģis Krastiņš for several years in a row.

There is also our scout man Volodymyr Bugakov on the team, he helps the entire coaching staff and players to do their job perfectly.
