The men's volleyball team of Ukraine won the silver medals in the European Golden League 2023. In the finals, the Ukrainian volleyball players lost to the Turkish team in a tense and dramatic match.

The players of VC "Prometey" are also involved in this truly historic moment in domestic volleyball.
One of them is the captain of "Prometey" Vitalii Shchytkov. Shchytkov was the team's main setter during European Golden League matches. During eight games, the setter scored 14 points (3 aces, 6 attacks, 5 blocks).
Dmytro Teromenko, the newcomer of the "red and whites", also demonstrated a wonderful game at the tournament. The 36-year-old middle blocker earned 70 points (10 aces, 48 attacks, 12 blocks) in eight matches. Dmytro's average rate of attacks in 8 games played is 69.6%.
Our libero Oleksandr Boiko entered the roster of the "national team" for the first time in his career. However, the head coach of the national team still gave him the opportunity to show his game.
The head coach of "Prometey" Andrii Levchenko has been holding an important position in the coaching staff of the national team of Ukraine for several years in a row. Andrii Serhiiovych helps the Latvian specialist Uģis Krastiņš in the training and game process.
The scoutman Volodymyr Bugakov has been cooperating with the men's national team for a long time now, and this year he became an integral part of the "red and white" family.
