Thanks to positive results and a correspondingly high position in the FIVB ranking, Ivan Petkov's wards entered the qualifying tournament for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The first 24 teams, according to the abovementioned ranking as of September 2022, will compete in the qualification. France, as the host country, entered the Olympics automatically. The last five tickets will be determined after the conclusion of the group stage of the Nations League 2024.
During the drawing of lots, the teams were divided equally into three groups (A, B, C). Ukraine got into the first one of them, where its rivals will be: China, Serbia, the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, Canada, the Czech Republic, and Mexico. The matches will be held from September 16 to 24 in the Chinese city of Ningbo.

It should be noted that the roster of the blue-yellow team, announced for the Games, has not changed compared to the last matches at the Euro. So the honor of the national team of Ukraine will be defended by eight volleyball players of SC "Prometey": Svitlana Dorsman, Anastasiia Maievska, Daria Sharhorodska, Viktoriia Oliinyk, Viktoriia Danchak, Diana Meliushkina, Yevhenia Khober, Krystyna Niemtseva.
