Ukrainian volleyball. Results of the "regular"
SC "Prometey" finished the regular championship of Ukraine in third place. In 18 matches, they scored 14 victories and 43 points. The gap from first place, which would have guaranteed a direct exit to the semi-finals, was only two victories and the same number of points.
Unlike the "red and whites", Ludmila Chornenka's team had opposite tasks for the first stage of the competition. Ternopil's team claimed fifth place before the final round. However, in the decisive match, they lost to their only competitor at the time — representatives of the National team of Ukraine U-17.
Therefore, now in the playoffs, the blue-yellow team will meet with the fourth team of the tournament, "Balta", and "Halychanka-ZUNU", having taken the sixth place, will have to play with the current champion of the country in the quarterfinals.
Previous matches of the current season
In the 2022/23 season, the clubs met a total of three times, although they could have met more. The fact is that the opponents were supposed to meet in the 2022 League Cup, but Ternopil withdrew from the competition due to the illness of almost all team members.
"Prometey" triumphed in all the aforementioned matches. In addition, our opponents did not win a single set.
