Thanks to positive results and a correspondingly high position in the FIVB ranking, Ivan Petkov's wards entered the qualifying tournament for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The first 24 teams, according to the abovementioned ranking as of September 2022, will compete in the qualification. France, as the host country, entered the Olympics automatically. The last five tickets will be determined after the conclusion of the group stage of the Nations League 2024.

The application of the women's national team of Ukraine for the main draw of the European Championship 2023 has become known. The blue-yellow team, under the leadership of Ivan Petkov, will play their matches in the group stage of the continental championship in the Belgian city of Ghent from August 18 to 24. Their opponents in Group A will be volleyball players from Serbia, Hungary, Belgium, Slovenia, and Poland. Four teams will advance to the next round.

On July 27, at 21:30, the national women's team of Ukraine will start in the qualifying tournament for the  Nations League 2024 — the Challenger Cup. The matches will be held in the French city of Laval.

On July 19, the drawing of lots for the group stage of the 2023/24 Champions League among women's teams took place in Luxembourg. SC "Prometey" is the only representative of Ukraine in the most prestigious European club competitions.

At this stage of the tournament, Ivan Petkov's team got into Group E, where they will play against already well-known Le Cannet (France), LKS Lodz (Poland), and one of the teams from the qualifying stage.

The first two clubs from each group and one best team among the third places will advance to the playoffs.

This Sunday, July 9, the volleyball players of the national team of Ukraine are waiting for the second match of the finals against the representatives of Sweden as part of the final of the European Golden League-2023. The game will take place in Lund at 17:00 Kyiv time.

The players of the national team of Ukraine confidently started the final series of the European Golden League-2023 against the volleyball players of Sweden. The first match of the teams, which took place in the Romanian city of Piatra Neamts, ended with a "3:0" victory for our athletes.

The women's national team of Ukraine reached the finals of the European Golden League-2023, where they will play against the Swedish team. The first meeting of the two-match confrontation will take place already today, July 6, in the Romanian city of Piatra Neamt at the Sala Polivalenta arena. Starts at 18:00 Kyiv time.

Olesia Rykhliuk, the opposite of the national team of Ukraine, will defend the colors of SC "Prometey" in the 2023/24 season. This news has been announced by the president of the "red and white" club Volodymyr Dubinsky on his Facebook page.

This year, the women's national team of Ukraine has a very busy calendar. After all, our athletes will take part in three tournaments at once: the European Golden League (May-June), the European Championship (August-September) and the qualification for the Olympics (September).

The ladies are goins to gather on April 27 in Chernivtsi for a practice-training sessions before the start of the competition. According to Ivan Petkov, the head coach of the blue and yellow team, he plans to call up about thirty volleyball players to the national team.
